Women’s War Service Auxiliary

A meeting of the Pahiatua District Women’s War Service Auxiliary was held on Wednesday afternoon to" make final arrangements for tho opening of an office for the carrying on of secretarial, registration and other work of the district committee. Premises situated next to Messrs. Adams and Tinney have been kindly lent for this purpose. Appreciation of the kindness of the following gentlemen who have signified their willingness to instruct classes once registrations disclosed the various requirements was freely expressed:—Mr. Hall Watson, physical culture; Mr. Carlyon, signalling, and Mr. Merrie, cycle mechanics. A public meeting of women and girls' was decided upon and will be held in the near future.
