Mrs. E. Ellis, of Tokirima, nas oeen visiting Mrs. W. Gibbons, Grey Street. Mrs. W. N. Burcher, Ross Street, is at present on a visit to Mr. and Mrs. C. Blane, of Waipawa. Miss Vealc, of Wellington, is at present the guest of Rev. and Mrs. W. H. Nicholas, McLean Street. Miss A. Fleming, of Whangarei, has returned home after spending a few days with friends in Woodvillc. Mrs. F. E. Stayte, of Birkenhead, is at present the guest of Mrs. E. F. Nicholson, Atkinson Street. Mr. T. Harrington, of Huntcrvillc, is at present visiting Mr. and Mrs. N. Kopke, Gladstone Street. Mr. and Mrs. H. Smith, Harding's Road, are at present in Auckland, where the former’s mother is seriously ill. Miss Bel vin, of California, is at present the guest of Mrs. Armitagc, senr., Hopelands. Mrs. Andrew, of Hamilton, is at present staying with Mr. and Mrs. V. A. Rowe, Ormond Street. Mr. R. T. Nicholas, of Puniwhakau, spent tho week-end with his parents, Rev. and Mrs. W. H. Nicholas, McLean Street.-
