Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m. SYDNEY, April 27. The Canterbury Park races were off on Saturday owing to rain. At the Ascot races (Melbourne) on Saturday the results were:— Wokingham Handicap; Molliecon, 7.7 , (Powell), 1; Unishak, 7.13 (Breasley), j 2; Beaufilcr, 7.9 (Purtell), 3. Twelve started. Won by a head; half a length. Time, 1.124. Aylesford Handicap ; Sir Locket, 7.12 I (Mornement), 1; Chamberlain, 7.2 (Pur- I tell), 2- Cumulus. 9.0 (Creighton), 3. J Eleven started. Won by half a length; length. Time, 2.8; a course record for li miles and 40 yards.
