Father Christmas Arrives in Pahiatua

PUBLIC HOSPITAL CHILDREN CHEERED BY VISIT The hearts of a number of kiddies in the Pahiatua Public Hosiptal were gladdened on Friday afternoon by a visit from Father Christmas, carrying his usual bag of toys. This was his lirst call when he arrived in Pahiatua. When he reached the hospital, accompanied by the manager of Pringle’s, Mr. W. B. Gray, the matron welcomed him and conducted him through the wards. The gift, the friendly handshake and kind words given by the old man to each child were answered with a smile of pleasure.
