Chairman Re-elected
ANNUAL MEETING OF COUNTY COUNCIL The annual statutory meeting of the Woodville County Council was held after tbe ordinary monthly meeting yesterday. In vacating the chair, prior to the election of chairman for the coming year, Mr. M. O. Grainger thanked councillors for tho manner in which they had co-oporated with and assisted him during the last year. Mr. J. M. Graham then took the chair and he called for nominations for tho office of chairman for the ensuing year. Cr. Peebles’ resolution that Mr. Grainger be re-elected was seconded by Cr. Cattanacb and carried. Last year’s finance committee was ro* elected as follows: Crs. Grainger, G. Peebles, K. H. Morgan and H. Sheffield On the motion of Crs. Mabey and Galloway, it was resolved that the chairman’s honorarium remain unaltered.
