WOODVILLE MAGISTRATE’S COURT QUARTERLY sitting Yesterday’s quarterly sitting of the Woodville Magistrate’s Court which was presided over by Mr. 11. P. Lawry, S.M., was a brief one. Driving a motor-vehicle while not possessing a driving license and driving without due care and attention cost a juvenile fines of 10s in each instance. Leonard Alfred Howard Mason was convicted and fined £1 and 10s costs for driving a motor-vehicle that was not equipped with a warrant of fitness. Cutting Corner. As tho sequel to a motor accident at the corner of Oxford Road and Woodlands Road during the afternoon of February 23, 1940, Harry James Fuller, of Woodville, was charged with cutting a corner. He pleaded guilty and was convicted and fined 10s with 10s costs.
