COMMISSION ALREADY SITTING Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 10. With the arrival iu Wellington to-day of Mr. C. M. Bruce, the recently retired principal assistant secretary of the Admiralty in London, the personnel of tho Commission appointed by the Government to inquire into the pay and conditions of the New Zealand Division of the Roj’al Navy has been completed. Tho Commission has already spent four days in taking evidence, it having been deemed desirable to proceed without waiting for the arrival of Mr. Bruce. However, it will probably meet in Wellington next week to discuss the evidence already taken. It is not likely to take further evidence until tho return to Auckland of H.M.S. Leander. Some members of the crew of this cruiser have already submitted written statements, but they will be given an opportunity to give evidence before the Commission.
