Rumania Says “No”

The Romanian elections will be held on June 1 and S, the Senate consisting of 88 elected members and 88 King’s appointees, and the Chamber of Deputies of 258 members. King Carol, in a speech, said that Rumania was peaceful and desired to complete her development in tranquility, but was determined to guard her integrity and independence. Thia is interpreted as the rejection of the Bulgarian and Hungarian territorial claims. The Bumanian Premier, M. Colinetcu, has announced that Parliament will meet on June 7.
