ADELAIDE CUP TO SON OF AUROUS United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 10.40 p.m. ADELAIDE, May 10. The Adelaide Cup to-day resulted:— SON OF AUROUS, 7.9 (Olsen) .... 1 Tempest, 8.7 (Medhurst) 2 Rotex, 7.12 (Carling) 3 Two lengths; length. Time, 2.46. A message from Sydney says that a* the Kensington races to-day the Gaine Carrington-Verdette gelding White Ensign won the Juvenile Handicap of five and a-half furlongs by a neck in 1.81, equalling the race record. Young Carrington, also by Gaine Car-rington-Moulin, finished second in the Jumpers’ Flat Race by one mile. Bydney also reports that the jockey A. Stanton will sail at the week-end to rids in the Dominion. He is settling in Auckland district.
