Aged Sturgeon Caught

WELL OVER 100 YEARS VAN’COTJVER, Dec. 6. A giant sturgeon, weighing 7671 b., was recently caught in the Fraser River, near Vancouver. From the otolith rings on the earbone Government fisheries inspectors have determined that the fish was well over 100 years old. Each ring on the bone indicates one year in the fish's life.
