PERSONAL

Mr. and Mrs. L C. Boyens and family are spending a holiday in Wanganui. Mrs. It. Bridge, of Pahiatua, left yesterday for Wanganui and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. M. Broadhead.

Mr. and Mrs. T. Clarke left Pahiataa yesterday to spend a holiday in Wellington. Miss E. Dunce has returned to Wellington after spending a holiday with Mrs. K. Gordon Smith, Hainua. Mr. H. A. Johansen, of the Pahiatua telephone exchange staff, has been transferred to Uppor Hutt. Miss Enid Taylor has left for Akaroa, South Island, where she will bo spending a short holiday. Mr. J. Franks and his daughter, Mrs. M. Hall, of Streetly Sutton, Coldfield, England, were the guests of Mr. J. J. Boagey, Tyndall Street, Pahiatua, during the Christmas holidays.
