SPLENDID FIELDS CARDED FOR TO-DAY SINGLE-POOL BETTING The Timaru Trotting Club’s meeting is being held to-day and very good acceptances have been received for the handicap events. In addition to the cup race, particular interest will attach to the New Zoaland Trotting Stakes and the Nursery Stakes, and the meeting should attract widespread interest.
