FARMERS’ CO-OP REPORT The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd. report on the Pahiatua weekly sale as follows: — A god entry of sheep and pigs came forward, although not up to advertised numbers owing to a late withdrawal of 500 lambs. The market generally for lambs was, if anything, firm by Is per head on recent sales and we report a total clearance under the hammer at the following realisations: — Sheep: B.f. lambs (fat), 18s 9d to 20s; good stores, 16s to 17s lOd; w-f. woolly lambs (good), 36s 2d 17s Id; w.f. wether lambs (shorn and good), 14s to 15s Id, medium 12s to 13s; w.f. ewe lambs (medium), 14s to 15s, good 20s 4d; two-tooth wethers (good), 21s 6d to 225, medium 20s to 21s; m.s. b.f. two-tooths, 19s Id to 21s; fat ewes, prime and young, 16s Gd to 225; twotooth ewes, 26s to 2Ss. Pigs: Weaners, 8s 6d to 11s; stores 265. Dairy cattle: £5 to £5 10s. N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company report on the weekly sale held on Tuesday, when a good yarding of lambs came forward and met with moderate competition. Values were on a par with previous quotations, b.f. lambs selling at improved rates. Sales were as follow: B.f. lambs (good), to 17s 4d, medium 14s to 15s 3d; b.f. ewe lambs, 7s to 8s 9d; woolly wether lambs 14s 3d, 15s to 16s 6d; medium woolly lambs, 9s to 10s 3; two-tooth wethers 21s 6d to 225; others, 17s to 18s 6d; shorn wether lambs, 14s Id to 15s 2d; medium shorn wether lambs 10s 3d to 12s 3d.
