WILL BRING TOTAL IN PALMERSTON NORTH TO 76. Yesterday Mr J. A. Lee, M.P., who is in charge of the State Housing Scheme, advised Mr J. Hodgens M.P., that tenders would close on March 8 for the erection of a further 20 single-unit houses and 5 two-unit houses (total 30 houses) facing College street, Cook street and Park road on the .State housing area at West End, Palmerston North. It is understood the tenders will be called under six different contracts.
These 30 new houses will bring . .« total number of State dwellings in Palmerston North to 76.
