Miss Kathleen Brown, Manaia, Taranaki, has recently joined the staff of, the Palmerston North Hospital. The friends of Mrs. J. D. Balmer, of Raunna, vvi.i regitsi to i. .. condition is causing her family grave concern. Mrs. J. Humphrey, Beattie street, Feilding, has staying with her for the wedding of her grand-daughter, Miss Mavis Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Terry, of Te Horo, and Mr. and Mrs. E. Gr. Humphrey, of Te Awamutu.
Mrs. E. Battson, of Te Awamutu, Mrs. A. Duigan, of Taumarunui, and Mrs. L. Hickford, of Waverley, are the guests of Mr. H. G. Stewart, Grey street. Feilding, for the wedding of his daughter, Mavis, this evening.
