INTER-CLUB MATCH AT HOKOWHITU

An inter-club match was played at Hokowhitu yesterday when a team of ladies from Kimbolton tried conclusions with a Manawatu team, the visitors securing four wins, halving one game and losing seven. Following were the results, Kimbolton players mentioned first:—

Mrs. D'Ath beat Mrs. Edmonds; Mrs. Murray halved with Mrs. Jury; Miss Ross lost to Mrs. Hill; Miss Hocking lost to Mrs. Rees; Mrs. Billing lost to Mrs. L. Seifert, junr.; Mrs. Cornfoot lost to Mrs. Triggs; Mrs. Richardson lost to Miss S. McDonald; Miss Barry beat Miss Baigent; Mrs. W. Clapham beat Mrs. J. Reid; Miss K. Murray beat Mrs. Ivan Wilson; Miss J. Brown, lost to Mrs. Foy; Miss L Kilgour lost to Miss P. McDonald.
