From Our Own Correspondent. After a spell of severe frosts and southerly winds, weather conditions improved towards the week-end and Sunday proved a warm and typical spring day. Although very early in the season, dairy companies are collecting cream thrice weekly and bobby calves are already being sent to tho freezing works. . The euchre party held in the Awahou North school last Saturday evening was lery well attended. Points prizes were won by Mrs Brown and Air D. Bockett and consolation prizes by Miss M. Fitzherbert and Air Hankins. A competition was won by Aliss AI. Fltzherbert. Airs F. YVagstaff was tho winner of the lucky game, organised at the previous card evening. Personal. .ATr YV. Anderson lias returned from a holiday in the Waikato district. Air and Mrs London and family have taken up residence on No. l line. Miss Dunstan, of Cheltenham, has been staving with her sister. Airs Marshall. Air Cliff Sauell left recently to take up a position at Bulls.
