Te Arakura
From Our own • Ping-pong On Alonday evening a party of piayers from the Aorangi Ping-pong Club visited Te Arakura for a 100 game evening. Aorangi proved the winners by 53 games to 47. The players and games they won were:—Aorangi: R Tait 10. AI. Blaskett 8, J. Simeon 7, Airs Al. Simeon 6, A. Clifford 5, Aliss G. Blaskett 5, B. AlcFarland 2 Miss N. Red path 4, B. Robinson 3, J. AlcFarland 3; total 534. Te Arakura: J. Gore S, Miss L. Gore 8, J. Sorensen 7, A Hansen 9, Muss J. Bennett 6. A. Thomas 5, H. Elay thorn e 2, B. Bennett 1, L. Bennett 0, J. AlcKinnon 1. Mr R. Tart captained the Aorangi team and J. Gore Te Arakura. Personal All* Leonard Bennett, of Ongarue, is the guest of Airs J. H. Bennett. . Mrs D. Phillips, Masterton, is strjrmg with her brother, Air D. Lewer and Airs Airs A. Griffith has now returned home from hospital. Her friends will be pleased to hear she is making satisfactory progress towards recovery Air and Airs J. H. Bennett, who motored to the King Country to attend the funeral oi the late Air W. Bennett, have returned home. Mr N. E. Hansen is at present on holiday in Auckland. Mx* R. B. Bennett has returned from Matiere," where he attended his brother’ .7 funeral.
