Pohangina Valley
The monthly meeting of the Pohangina Methodist Guild was held at the residence of Airs Wagstaff, senr., on Wednesday, Mrs C. A. Foston presiding over a fair attendance. Apologies were received from Alesdames J. W. Aladdison. J. T. Moar ar.d J. Dawson. A letter of thanks for a parcel of clothing for distribution among the Alaoris, was received from Sister L. Jones. Other interesting letters were received from Sisters A. Wilcox, of the Maori Missions, and Sister Ada Lee, oi Roviana, Solomon Islands. Mrs Foston gave an interesting review T of „,. the ! M.W.M.U. convention held In Fending. The competition for the afternoon was won by Mrs G. Drummond, Airs T. Sinclair gaining second place. A box of Christmas gifts for the Solomon Islands children was packed.
