LOYALTY TO TRADING BANKS AFFIRMED. P«r Press Association WELLINGTON, Last Night. The eighteenth annual conference of the New Zealand Bank Officers' Guild concluded to-day. The annual report showed a membership of 3019, being 91 per cent, of tho staffs of the trading banks. The financial position of the guild is strong, the accumulated funds amounting to £4639. Tho Investment Society membership exceeded 1850, while approximately tho same number had enrolled in the group assurance scheme. To date 204 bank officers had gained the diploma of banking and a largo number had also gained passes in the securities course. During the year considerable attention had been devoted by the executive to service conditions, which were considerably affected by the recent legislation.
