Soviet’s Merciless Industrial Purge
THOUSANDS ARRESTED DURING WEEK Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, June 24. The Riga correspondent of the Times says the merciless industrial purge continues. Hardly a branch of industry has escaped and a large number of directors, managers and high officials who have been arrested will be tried for incompetence and criminal negligence.
