America’s Cup Trials
RANGER ALMOST CERTAIN DEFENDER Received Thursday, 9.30 p.m. NEWPORT, June 23. Ranger won tho seventh trial race to select the defender of the America's Cup, defeating Yankee by 54 minutes over 27.7 miles. It is considered virtually certain that Ranger will defend the Cup.
