WITH A TINGE OF WINTER Weather conditions in Feilding on Sunday improved during the day ufter tho unpleasant change of Haturday and at mid-day the sun shone out to suggest that summer was still with us. How ever, that night conditions changoJ again and towards midnight a rain storm blew up from tho south and fo‘ some hours torrential rain foil. At daylight yesterday tlio rain commenced to ease off and tho day was generally fine with tho atmosphere quite fresh For tho 24 hours ending at 9 a.m. yes terday .87 inches of rain fell in Fcild
