WEEKLY SOCIAL EVENING AI embers of the committee of the Feilding Foresters' Lodge responsible for tho promotion of the weekly social evenings aro more than delighted jvith the patronage accorded tho venture and Saturday evening's gathering re fleeted tho popularity of these assemblies. Airs. Noble and Aliss Smith were first and second respectively iu tho ladies’ section of tho euchre, while iu the men’s section Messrs Cornwall and Grindrod wero tho winners. A dainty supper was served by the committee at the conclusion of the cards, after which a short dance pro gramme was held, Air. W. Towlor being AI.C. Alodern and old-time dances comprised tho programme, music being supplied by Feeney’s Alcrry Sparklers' orchestra. In a special novelty competition Air. L. Krcgher was successful and in the Monte Carlo waltz Air. W. Alonli and Alias Duncan were tho winners.
