Kairanga
(From Our Own Correspondent) Euchre and Dance. A Jolly euchre and dance was held In the Kairanga hall on Tuesday last. The ciK-hre prizes were won by Mrs Lancaster and Mr Beasley. The committee wish to thank all who helped to make the evening such a success, and also Mrs P. J. Kglinton and Mr Mildou for trophies for tho euchre. Mr G. Davey carried out the duties of M.C. Miss M. Anderson played an extra. A box of chocolates was won by Miss P. Pratt. Among those present were: Misses M. Anderson, metal cloque; I. Anderson, orange lace; E. Anderson, blue georgette; P. Whildon, green crepe; M. Tomlinson, red georgette; N. Tomlinson, pink floral taffeta; G. Hyde, pink matalus«*; T. Davey, blue satin; G. Jackson, green velvet lace; J. Kglinton. midnight blue crepe; M. Kglinton, red crepe and silver; J. Chapman, floral voile; N. Jackson, pink satin; B. Hall, red.moire; J. Russell, green elephant crepe; B. Russell, floral voile; Mrs R. Mitchell, pink figured crepe do chine; Mrs Cooper, pink lace; Mrs Huntly, green crepe do chine; Misses I*. Pratt, green georgette; J. Green, lemon floral voile, O. Green, gold and green beauty satin; Mrs R. Clark, blue floral georgette. Personal. Mr and Mrs W. Davey have gone on a holiday to Foxton Beach. Miss Alma Cooper has been holidaying with friends In Palmerston North.
