Registered Nurses Association

MEETING OF MANAWATU COUNCIL. Tho monthly meeting of the council of the Manawatu branch of tho New Zealand Registered Nurses' Association was held in the I’lunkct rooms yesterday afternoon. Miss C. MeKenny, president, was in the chair and councillors present were Mrs R. Burnett, Misseß Allan, Wright, Madden, Burdett aud Kelly, secretary. The resignation of Miss M. A. Henderson from the council was received with regret. Leave of absence was granted to Mrs Dalgleish for three months. General correspondence was dealt with and three nurses were transferred to other branches. Miss MeKenny then gave a comprehensive report on the recent conference of presidents of the association s branches held in Wellington last week.
