CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE BUT NO CASUALTIES United Press Association— Bv Electric Telegraph.-—Copyright. Received Sunday, 8.30 p.m, i SYDNEY, Jan. 17. A cyclone last night struck the mining towns of Kearslcy and Abernethy in the Northern coalfields. Three houses were almost demolished and several others completely unroofed. Considerable damage was done to shop windows. The electric current failed and the streets were littered with iron and other debris. The residents were terrified and their troubles ure accentuated by drenching rain. Nobody was seriously hurt although many had lucky escapes.
