PAVILION IN FRENCH EXHIBITION. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyrigh t. Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m, PARIS, Jan. 17. Laying the first stone ia the monumental tower which will complete the German pavilion at tho International Exhibition the German Charge D’Affaires said: “I will strike a triple blow with tho hammer to emphasise my wishes: Firstly, that the pavilion 9 will make the German mind and soul better known to France; secondly, may the exhibition be a success worthy of France and Paris; thirdly, may the exhibition form a lasting international bridge especially between France and Germany."
