From Our Own Correspondent, .Miss Aline Roberts, of the nursing staff of the Public Hospital, New Plymouth, has returned to that Institution after spending extended leave at her home. .Miss B. Wingate, Calrnsmore, has returned from Waipukurau. Airs. S. 11. Ronerts has returned to Shannon with her children, lam and Joyce, lan Hudson of Levin has spent his holidays with Edgar Port. A Visitor from Linton is Trevor Nash, Bill isherwood, of Otald, has also been staying at Komo. .Air., and Airs. J. E. Wingate visited Wellington during.the week-end. The last week with its cold, southerly winds 'an'd accompanying showers of sleet, hail and snow, came as an unwelcome change after the previous mild days. Sheep-farmers especially are experiencing a great deal of anxiety as the young lambs cannot withstand such conditions very favourably.
