l ioin Our Oivn Correspondent. Mr. and Mrs, T. Bond, of Cambridge, are the guests of Mr. and .Mrs. E. S. I-loldaway, “Springbank.” Mr. J. M. Rule loft on Monday to spend three weeks touring through the South Island from Nelson to Invercargill and Visiting friends and relations en route. Mr. Phil Morris, of Taihape, arrived in the district last week and left on Sunday in company with Mr. T. F. Schroder, to spend several days deer-stalking in the Tararuas. The friends of Mr. J. A. Gibson will be pleased to learn that he has now returned home from hosital, but still has his arm in a sling. While drafting some sheep during the week-end Mr. F. T. Horne had the misfortune to be knocked down by one of the sheep and sustain three broken ribs. He is now confined to his bed and his friends wish him a speedy recovery. Mr. D. Brown had the tip of one of the fingers of his right hand cut off on Wednesday when tho horses moved while he was engaged in cleaning the grass from the knives of his mower.
