Miss Jean Algie is staying with her grandmother, Mrs W. S. Algie, of Masterton road.

Mrs Coulter and her small son, of Wellington, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs B. B. Humphrey, of Hamua. Mr B. Brown, of Hamua, who has been on a health recruiting holiday at Eastbourne, is now home again. Miss Zella Brown has returned to Hamua after a holiday spent with Mrs Cotter at Levin.

Mrs Job Mabey, Konini, entered the Tararua private hospital on Thursday, and her many friends wish her a speedy recovery. Miss Betty Mabey is homo, again after her serious illness, following an appendicitis operation. Mr Norman Bussell, a member of the sporting division of the literary staff of tho Auckland Star, is at present the guest of Mr Era. Brown at Hamua.
