Three hundred calves bred from English stock have been transported by aeroplane from Lima to Cuzco in Peru. They are intended for stock raising purposes, and the aeroplane has provided a safer and healthier method of transport than the long journey b, 1 ; coastal steamship, followed by tedious and protracted mountain railway stag es.
