Lodge Meeting

U.A.O.D.

The fortnightly meeting of the Pahiatua Lodge, U.A.0.D., was held in the Mayfair hall on Thursday last, when Bro. H. Fisher, jnr., A.D., presided over a full attendance. Several apologies were received and accounts amounting to nearly £lO were passed for payment.

Correspondence from the Stonehenge Lodge No. 1 was received regarding its visit to Pahiatua on March 12, and it was decided to accept same. A large attendance of local brethren is expected, besides many from sister lodges. An important motion regarding the funds of the lodge was passed, and the balance-sheet regarding the friendly societies’ hospital scheme was submitted.

Congratulations were extended to the A.D. on his narrow escape in a recent accident at Pori.
