Feilding’s Rainfall

SEPTEMBER A MILD MONTH.

Mild weather conditions were experienced in Fcilding during tlio month of September and Mr. F. Mason, of Sandon road, records that the rainfall amounted to 1.95 inches for a total of seven wet days. This figure is below tlio average of 2.8 G inches for the month of September, but well above the fall experienced in September of last year when .80 inches was recorded. For the nino months of the current year Feilding has received 34.72 inches of the average annual rainfall of 35.92. It is interesting to note that the month of September last year marked the commencement of tho drought which terminated in February with a fall of 6.07 inches.
