Willard Home Board Reports for Month
The monthly meeting of the Willard Home Board was held yesterday afternoon, Airs. E. A. Collins presiding. Also present were Alesdames D. J. Lovelock, E. B. Jennings, K. AlcDonald, A. IV. Just, J. A. AlcLeavey, E. C. Barnett, C. F. Spooner, E. G. Bennett, E. Port, Purvis, J. AlcConnon, E. Bett., G. H. Bennett, A. Andrews, J. Pointon, Miss AlcLagan and Airs. E. A. Birdsall (sec-retary-treasurer) .
An apology was received from Airs, T. E. Hodder.
Airs. Purvis, who was' attending for the first time, was formally welcomed.
A letter was received from the town clerk,, granting the committee permission to sell badges on Friday during spring show week. The matron’s report stated that the health of tho children had been verygood. •‘ Wo aro very grateful to the Business Girls’ Club for gifts of groceries, etc,, and to tho Bulls Women’s Institute. Gifts of this kind help to keep down our monthly grocery account,” stated the report. The report and correspondence were received.
Airs. Just and Mrs. AlcConnon visited the home during tho month, Airs. Just reporting that everything had been found to be satisfactory. Small repair matters were discussed.
There had been quite a good rcsponso to tho appeal since tho annuai meeting. The sum of £25 has been allocated by the Alacarthy Trust. Accounts amounting to £l3 9s Id were passed for payment. Visitors to the home during tho coming month will be Airs. Bett and Airs. Purvis.
