From Our Own Correspondent. A euchre and dance was held on Tuesday evening, there being a very largo attendance. Seventen games having been played, winners were declared as follows. Ladies, Airs G. AValker, Aliss E. Hay o and Airs Puklowski, all 12} games each, men, Air G. Nielsen, 13} games. iho consolation prizes went to Airs Harvey. 4} games, and Air Osborne, 4} games, li t points prize for tho highest agftregat. over five nights went to Airs Avith a total of 42 games. Tho second prize was equally divided between Mr n. Alercer, Air A. Lawrence, Air R. iuffiow - ski, and Airs Tunnicliffe, each havin„ 4 J games. A Alonte Carlo dance was he d during the evening when the successful couple was Aliss Thomson and Alt uGardener. , Aliss B. Radomsld has been stajm 0 with friends in Alarton. Aliss Draper has been spending a holiday with her sister, Airs A. Lawrence. Aliss Stafford has returned to her home in Alarton, whore she has been spending a holiday at Airs Radomski s. Air and Airs G. Walker have returned from an enjoyable holiday, spent at Rapier and Gisborne. , Air and Airs Ireland have left the Kelvin Grove district and arc residing m Palmerston North.
