W.D.F.U. Dance, Feilding

With a view to augmenting the funds of the provincial executive, Ike Fending branch of the W.D.F.U. held a dance on Friday evening at their pleasant rooms in Svendsen's buildings. In an endeavour to give patrons every satisfaction the committee engaged a popular and talented local musician whose playing proved the wisdom of their choice. Care was taken to provide a delectable home-made supper and everything possible was done to make the evening the enjoyable and successful one it proved to be. The committee has hopes of running a series of such dances monthly throughout the winter iu aid of branch funds and should they do so will undoubtedly meet with a fair share of public support.
