Athletics in Feilding

TO-NIGHT’S SPORTS For the purpose of giving an exhibition one mile walk, Stan Bade, (lie Wellington provincial one-mile and three-mile champion walker, will attend the electric-light sports meeting in Feilding to-night. Birks, who is another university champion, will accompany him in the walk. Others figuring amongst Iho competitors will be the cycling champions from New Plymouth, Napier and AVanganui, while the Now Zealand lady champion will compete in the sword dance in the Highland events. The’ whole of Kowhai Park is to lie illuminated for this meeting, and (luring the evening displays will be supplied by the Feilding Fire Brigade.
