Two Friars Butchered by Cannibals
TRAGEDY IN ARGENTINA » United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 9.25 p.m. RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov. 20. The deaths of two friars, Fathers Joao and Pedro, by butchery at the hands of a cannibal tribe of Chavante Indians on the hanks of Death River was confirmed in despatches from Belam.
