“DEVIL’S OWN” TOURNEY STARTS TO-DAY.
DRAW AND STARTING TIMES,
For the "Relaxation and Rejuvenation of tho Profession," tho Manawatu legal fraternity instituted a golf tournament designated tno "Devil’s Own,” and this year’s fixture op°ns nt the Hokowhitu course today, the initial events being tho Guarantee Fund Handicap (IS-liole stroke paralytic) and Cypres Handicap (IS holes stroke), in conjunction with which will be lbe qualifying rounds for the “Devii’.-t Own Cup" and "Mortgagors’ Relief Stakes,” which will, on tho concluding days, be decided by match play on handicap.
