GOOD PROGRESS BY MISS BATTEN United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 7.40 pan. BATAVIA, May 22. Miss Batten arrived at .Rambang on Monday at 5 pan. (local time), and left for Koepang at 7 o’clock this morning. It is expected that Miss Batten will reach Darwin to-morrow, in which case she will' equal Bert Hinkler’s time of 13} days from England. Arrival at Koepang Received Tuesday, 11.15 pan. KOEI’ANG, May 22. Miss Batten arrived at Koepang at 2.40 p.m., local time. Escort Over Northern Australia SYDNEY, May 21. Arrangements have been made to send an aeroplane to Darwin to meet Miss Batten and escort her over the dangerous flying country of Northern Australia to Brisbane.
