Two motor-cars and a garage were damaged by'fire when Robert William Sullivan, .a confectioner, of Houghton Bay road, used a petrol lighter to enable him to put on the cap of a petrol tank to-ni.ght. Sullivan himself received severe-, burns to his arm and hand and had* to be taken to hospital.
