EXCHANGE OFFICER HONOURED Aliss Mabel Gray, who has ably officiated as toll operator at the Palmerston North telephone exchange for the past six years, has been transferred to the Mar-ton office and left on Thursday last to take up the position there ns working supervisor. Prior to her departure for Alarton Aliss Gray was met by her associates in the Palmerston North office and presented with a handbag in token of their esteem, the presentation being made by Mr A. AleSherry, supervisor of the telegraph branch. Aliss Gray feelingly express id her thanks.
