Garrison Band Carnival

A. very enthusiastic meeting of tlic Palmerston North Garrison Band carnival committee was held on Wednesday evening', when various matters were Jiualised for the carnival at the Empire Hall on Wednesday, Thursday, Eriday and Saturday next. One feature that snould appeal to the dancing public is old-time and modern dancing, which will be held each evening in the dance 'hall adjoining, at a charge of Id per dance on Wednesday, Thursday and Eriday, finishing up with a coster ball on Saturday for which the charge will be ild per dance. Another great feature will be the baby show on Wednesday afternoon, for which Mr J. A. Nash. M.P., lias very kindly donated two special prizes. Further entertainment will be provided by pupils from ihe Broadway School of Dancing (Miss Gibbs) and teams from the Palmerston North Boys’ High School.
