Parents’ Association Dance Provides Enjoyment
The dance organised by the Parents’ Association of the Boys’ High School and held in the P.D.C. restaurant last night, provided a happy evening for many dancers. There were the usual bright features of these popular functions, an excellent floor, lively music, charming surroundings and dainty refreshments, for which the credit must go to the enthusiastic committees. Mr. F. A. Wollerman was an efficient M.C. and Mr. C. W. Teppett carried out the secretarial duties most capably. The ladies’ committee, who superintended the supper arrangements, comprised:— Mesdames A. Grigor, E. H. Spencer, H. Palmer, C. Louisson, M. H. Oram, G. A. Forrest, Brydon Jones, C. Cater, N. H. Sinclair, B. S. Mitchell, and R. H. Davis, tho men’s committee being: — Messrs. A. Grigor, L. Martin, C. Turnbull, F. A. Wollerman, Olivet, G. B. Cope, W. D. Olney, F. S. C. Hubbard, C. E. Taylor, S. Smith and R. H. Spencer.
