This game should provide the public with plenty of thrills as these boys give the brightest of Rugby ibat wo have had tho opportunity of witnessing. The game on tho Oval at 3 p.m. is between the two leading teams in the junior competition, Palmerston North Old Boys A and Woodville, and the result of* this game has an almost direct bearing on tho championship. There are three other junior games to be played, all of which will create the keenest interest to their followers.

GORDON TO MEET TECHNICAL

The outstanding game (Phoenix v. Gordon) in tho fifth grade competition was played on Thursday, Gordon winning by 21 points to nil. Tries were scored for the winners by McCorkindale (2), Bundle, Fraser and Farquhar, Fraser converting three, Gordon now meet Technical in tho play-off to-day.
