IMPORTANT ADVANCE ANNOUNCED.

It is announced that persistent eilorts of research workers at tho London Cancer hospital resulted in the discovery of a pure substance of known structure that produces cancer in a large constant proportion of cases. This is considered an advance of the first magnitude towards a knowledge of the combination of factors that make the incidence of cancer possible.
