Samoa Farewells Administrator

United Press Association.— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Keceived Sunday, Midnight. APIA, April 5. On Thursday the retiring Administrator Colonel Allen, was farewelled at a native function at Mulinuu when addresses were given by the chiefs and a presentation was made of lino Samoan mats and other tokens of regard. On Wednesday the officials of the Government and reparation estates presented the Administrator with a piece of silver plate. At eight on Saturday evening the Administrator left by the steamer Tofua for Suva and Auckland and was accorded a salute of fifteen guns by the shore battery. Ponding the arrival of the new Administrator Colonel Hart, the secretary of the administration, Mr. Turnbull is to act as Administrator.
