Will Great Britain Run Sweepstakes ?
Times Cable. Received Sunday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, April 4. The Times says that the Government has decided to examine the whole law affecting the holding of sweepstakes in Britain, and it is expected a committee of inquiry will be appointed without delay. Evidence will he heard from every possible angle. It is doubtful if it will be possible to take action as a result of the inquiry before this year’s Derby.
