St. Patrick's Church
Holy Week was brought to a fitting conclusion at St. Patrick's Church yes-' terday, Masses being celebrated at 7 a.m, 9 am. and 10.30 a.m. At the latter’hour Solemn High Mass was celebrated, the officiating priest being Rev. Father Herlihy. At this service special music was rendered by . the choir, under the capable baton of Mrs. E. J. Leydon. The music chosen was Charles Gounod's “Messe Solennelle," the glorious music being treated very devotionally by a large choir. The soloists were Mrs. E. McDonald (soprano), Messrs C. O'Brien and A. Hickmot (tenors) and C. J. Roberts (bass). At the evening devotions special music was again rendered, while Mr. Roberts sang Liddle's “Abide With Me.” Sermons appropriate to the Feast of the Resurrection were preached at all s, er '
